Former Furman University football player Tucker Genal from Clarksville, Tennessee, died at the young age of 31 years. The grief over this sad occurrence was expressed by his brother, Carson Gena, via Instagram, asking for respect for his family’s privacy during this difficult time.
Tucker Genal died on Thursday, December 11, 2025. He was found dead at his home in Los Angeles, California. The city coroner later confirmed suicide. This was confirmed by his brothers, Carson and Connor Genal.
News like this hurts. I have followed stories like this before, and it always feels heavy for me, for there is a real family behind every headline trying to weather the pain.
Tucker was the eldest in a rather big family. Born on November 9, 1996, he shared his childhood with brothers and sisters. Many family moments were shared online, each revealing just how close they were.

He had two younger brothers, Carson and Connor Genal, and at least three sisters- Ryan, who is also known as Ryann, Gabrielle, and Maddison. Tucker always seemed like the big brother guiding everyone.
Carson Genal was born on January 28, 1999. He is known as an athlete and social media creator. He played football in high school and tight end for the Florida International University Panthers. A lot of people even know him from Instagram and TikTok.
Connor Genal, the youngest brother, was born on September 19, 2000. Like the rest of the family, he appeared in videos and posts shared online. The brothers were often seen together laughing and joking around, just like normal siblings.
Tucker, Carson, and Connor ran a joint TikTok account with the name Hustle House. They would share fun group videos and everyday moments. Now, watching those clips feels different, with Tucker gone.
After the death of Tucker, Carson shared an emotional post on Instagram. He called Tucker his best friend and his hero. He said he spent his life looking up to him. That line really stayed with me because anyone with an elder brother can feel that pain deep inside
At the end of his message, Carson asked the media to give the family space. He wrote that during this incredibly difficult time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they mourn and try to move forward without Tucker. He also thanked everyone for the love and support shown to their family.
Loss of an elder brother creates a vacuum that really never fills. The Genal brothers have memories and moments to hold onto as they reminisce about growing up together. From the looks of it, they had an unbreakable bond, one that was real.
Friends, fans, and followers continue to mourn in their own ways, so the best thing we can do for them and their families is to grant their requests. For my part, I send heartfelt condolences to the Genal family in this very painful affair.
